25th Annual Ministry of Caring Annual Conference: Called to Care
Called to Care is a retreat invitation to reflect on your “Call to Care” and caregiving’s impact on mental health, and the physical and spiritual well-being of a caregiver. As caregivers, we are the least likely to ask for support and often are challenged with accepting support because of a belief that “we can handle it”. Caregiving can be life affirming and it can be life draining without strategies to replenish the energy used to meet the needs of those receiving the care we provide.
Through presentations, group discussion and time for reflection throughout the day, participants will have an opportunity to identify their personal challenges and develop practices and strategies to meet their needs. Participants will be able to create a practice of self-care, earlier awareness of the impact of caregiving on their mental, physical, and spiritual health and experience growth in their own resilience for their

Registration fee includes program materials, refreshments, and certificate of attendance. Registration with payment is required to guarantee enrollment. In the event of cancellation, tuition will be refunded in full. Refunds will not be made for participant cancellations received less than 72 hours prior to the conference.
